Park Avenue United Methodist Church (PAUMC) can trace it's roots back more than 185 yrs. The current church location at 106 East 86th St was established in 1926. The secular, play-based school was founded by the church congregation in 1954. The School survived and thrived for over 70 years. PAUMC is now, for the first time, offering the entire existing school space for lease. The school includes a completely redeveloped lower level floor, a 2,500 sf DOE approved roof-deck, fully functional electric kitchen, and multiple classrooms and child accessible bathrooms. For qualified tenants PAUMC will consider offering the space for multiple tenants appropriate for the usage category. The Church is willing to offer long-term leases, for schools, up to 30 years and won't require a lease-hold since the property pays no real estate taxes.
