The ranch consists of 7,449+/- acres deeded along with a 467 aum grazing permit on the Buffalo Gap National Grassland and a 640 ac. Nebraska State Lease, and just the right amount of improvements. Improvements include a modest ranch house, 26x58 manufactured home, two large pole barn machine sheds, calving barns, corrals fence-line feed rails and separate HQ unit. 
The ranch currently operates as a Cow/calf enterprise calving 530 mother cows and selling or removing the calves in the fall. The ranch has historically put up ample amounts of feed for winter feeding and has not relied upon purchased roughage. In addition to the grazing lease appurtenant to the ranch, in recent years approximately 130 pairs have been summered on a private lease allowing parts of the ranch to rest during the growing season.
