This corner will only get busier and will become one of the most highly travelled intersection in Waxahachie. Projects being built along FM 875 include a 3,300-acre resort like community called Heirloom that will include 11,500 new residences to begin development next year. Emory Lakes has also been approved just across the street from the site to include 9,000 new homes. Less than a mile away along US-287 Business will be the new Wilemon Elementary and the new Ellis County Sub-Courthouse. Already existing is the 6A Waxahachie High School also less than a mile from this site.
