Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), a department of the City of Los Angeles (City), is seeking competitive proposals from qualified entities to enter into a lease for an off- airport, non-aviation property located at 6550 Odessa Avenue (Property) at Van Nuys Airport (VNY).
The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to award a 30-year agreement to a successful Proposer who will develop modern recreational facilities through a ground-up redevelopment of the Property, operate sustainably with a commitment to the local community, and provide increase revenue to LAWA.
The Property consists of two parcels: Northern Site (Parcel 1) spanning approximately 29 acres and Southern Site (Parcel 2) covering approximately 27 acres, features existing improvements including a driving range, retail/restaurant space with connected utilities.
The Northern Site (Parcel 1) contains 40 stall driving range, while the South Site features 7,633 square feet of retail/restaurant space and provides ample parking with 240± parking spaces.
