The Terminal Island Maritime Support Facility will be redeveloped and improved to provide 71 net acres for use as a maritime support facility. Possible uses include but are not limited to: container storage and dispatching, chassis depot operations (i.e. stacking and storage); maintenance, and other roadability services. Responses to this RFI will not lead directly to a contractual relationship with the Harbor Department. The purpose of this RFI is to solicit the expertise of professional Respondents for meaningful input, ideas, solutions and recommendations that may better inform the Harbor Department's structuring of a competitive process designed to lead to an agreement concerning the opportunity site.
