The lot is 1.004 acre. As of early 2019, zoning was good for multi-family development. I believe it would qualify for other commercial development concepts, as well. Sits infront of established Apartment complex.
As of late 2018, City of Alvin was agreeable to build a 16-unit, 2 story apartment complex on the lot, following the "4-square" architectural concept of the existing Kimberly House Apts. The drawing in the .ppt file envisioned a scaled down 8-unit, 1 story concept, with apartment floorplan similar to KHA No. 502, above the office.
The survey shows the "floodline" with the Mustang Bayou as a red line. There is also a building limit line marked on the survey as "BL".
